Setting up desktop alerts and reminders

You can create desktop alerts for new email notification, and appointment reminders. To receive alerts, your mailbox must be opened.

The reminder does not pop up on the top of the page if you are not in Calendar. Enabling one of the following options helps to alert you of the pop-up:

  1. In addition to alerts to your computer, you can set up email and SMS notification from within the appointment.  You configure the email address and SMS number in Preferences>Notification page.
